Anne Hathaway is finally breaking her silence about her breakup with ex
Raffaello Follieri's and his arrest.
Anne graces the new cover of
W magazine, in which she talks about the shock she felt when she first discovered who Raffaello really was.
"As soon as I found out about the arrest, I had to get on a plane to Mexico to do a press tour for Get Smart," she says in October's W. "And then I spent a week in shock at a friend's house."
“I have to find a place to live,” she adds.
“It’s a situation where the rug was pulled out from under me all of a sudden. But just as suddenly, my friends threw another rug back under me.”
Anne is lucky to have an amazing support system. Her friends quickly came to her rescue to ease the pain of the breakup and help her carry on with her life. Her ex Raffaello is expected to plead guilty today in a Manhattan court and Anne could be called as a trial witness.
