Anne Hathaway: I Have Weird Features

She may be a major movie star, but according to InStyle magazine, Anne Hathaway is also shockingly down-to-earth.

The 'Alice in Wonderland' star graces the March cover of InStyle magazine looking gorgeous in a purple chiffon gown. Here are some excerpts from the interview:

On her appearance: “I think I’ve got really weird features. I have very large features on a very small head. But, you know, I’m not going to beat myself up… I look like myself, and I think at the end of the day, as nice as pretty is, authenticity is more important.”

On her body: “If I don’t work out at all, I have too much curve and no tone—which is not OK. It’s about finding balance.”

On her sense of style: “In the evening it would never occur to me to go out in motorcycle boots like this,” she says, referring to the black Burberry pair she wore to her interview. “I love going out in high heels and dressing up and glamming it up, and having there be a distinction between what happened throughout the day and the evening.”

On playing the White Queen: “When I found out Tim Burton was on, I basically went into the studio and said, ‘I’m here, I want to play the White Queen. I’m just letting you know I will do anything to be in this movie.’”

On planning: “I don’t time anything. I never plan an image I want to project. It’s always very much where I am right now.”
