Anne Hathaway not realize she's famous? She's convinced that she doesn't draw any attention and can easily blend in everywhere and go unnoticed.
She says, "You can't not look at Kate Hudson. She has no control over that, and, consequently, people are looking at her all the time, but I can sort of sneak out and lead a much more publicly unexamined life. I wouldn't have it any other way.
"I can blend in very easily. I have never been the kind of person who attracts attention and I'm still not - I'm by nature a wallflower, someone who hangs back and observes. It takes people a while to notice me."
While it's great that she's trying to live a low-key life out of the spotlight, she hardly "blends in."
2009 is going to be a big year for Anne, she already scored herself a Best Actress award at the 2009 Critics Choice Awards, and is getting Oscar buzz for her role in
Rachel Getting Married.
Soon she isn't going to be able to leave her house for a cup of coffee without getting hounded by a few dozen paparazzi's. Enjoy 'blending in' as much as you can Anne, it's going to come to an end real soon.
