90210 Spin-off To Be Provocative

Get ready all you 90210 fans because the spin-off will be more provocative then ever. Hollyscoop caught up with the show’s star AnnaLynne McCord at the Victoria’s Secret Heavenly Kiss Launch party at Beso and she gave us the 411 on the new show.

AnnaLynne revealed that she will play the 'Kelly Taylor' type character, which was originally played by Jennie Garth. “I am playing the bitchy character, there’s reasons why she does the things. She does actually have a heart…she has to deal with neglectful parents.”

AnnaLynne added that the spin off will be “more provocative, its going to be racy….its going to talk about some things parents may not want to hear about. The kids of this generation are very very smart for their ages, and I think they are doing things a lot younger and 90210 will address some of that.”

I guess we'll be seeing the Jamie Lynn Spears teen pregnancies and Lindsay Lohan-esque rehab stints on a regular basis at Beverly Hills high.

AnnaLynne added that, “its going to be a lot of fun…going to be 6 kids….this generation will kind of connect”.

In regards to the shows name, AnnaLynne said “right now they are only calling it the 90210 spin-off. As far as what they told us they haven’t decided if it’s either going to be 90210. I believe they do have the rights to the name, if they choose to it can be that but they haven’t decided as of yet." The show doesn’t hit CW until Fall but until then check out our interview from the event.
