Anna Nicole's mother just walked outside of the court room with her lawyer. She seemed excited to find out that Larry Birkhead is the father but her lawyer implied that she will be fighting for custody.

Virgie Arthur just said "All I care about and all I every cared about was the safety of Dannielynn."

There's just something about this lady that isn't genuine. How do you guys feel? Is she sincerely looking out for the best interest of Dannielynn or is she just an opportunist trying to suck some money out?

My name says it all.... Larry has wanted that baby from day one - way before Anna died. He loved her and he loves that baby - she is HIS daughter and he deserves to raise her!! Virgie HAD HER CHANCE to raise her children. She failed miserably. Virgie has made a big mistake, trying to get custody of Dannielynn. She is going to regret the day she tried to steal Dannielynn from her OWN PAPA. That was the sickest, meanest, most selfish thing she could ever attempt to do. WHAT A BITCH, what a selfish, horrible, sick individual. If you really love Dannilynn, LEAVE LARRY ALONE so he can be Daddy to his daughter! I have to wonder what some of you people have been smoking! How can you think Virgie Arthur should be let anywhere near this child? DO YOUR RESEARCH before you open your mouth. Are you aware that Anna was molested by one of her mothers FIVE husbands and that her mother did nothing to stop it? Anna told her about it and was ignored! And for those of you who say Larry didn't want this baby until after her mother died, he was fighting the battle for a paternity test for this child since before she was even born. Do your research before you open your mouth or it really makes you look stupid.

Look everyone really needs to shut the hell up. Everything has been settle. Larry no's he the father and i'm happy for him and life goes on for him and his child. Virgie needs to leave well enough alone and except the visitation rights before it turns out she want be able to see her beautiful grandchild. Howard was not the only one to blame it was anna nicole also. Howard i'm pretty sure didn't put a gun on anna head and make her take all those drugs even though he could of gotten her help. That's something that he anna and will have to discuss with god. And if Howard had any thing to do with Daniel overdose that's another thing he has to ansewer to with the good Lord. So people needs to stop passing on judgments. Theirs only one person that do the judging and that's almigty God up above. So please let this rest so anna and her son can rest in peace. If Virgie was such a monster.....why did Anna leave Daniel with her to raise him for 6 years?? I know a friend who hasnt spoke to her mom in 5 years. Over something stupid. It happens that doesnt mean either are bad people. Howard was disgusted by her family plain and simple. They werent Elite enuff for him. The only really happy picture I have seen of Daniel, was with his grandmother before Anna cut him off from all other family and left him to rot under the care of strangers while she was in and out of rehab. He was nine when she first rehabbed and then again a year later and again and again... and what was she doing in between rehabs? drugging and f__cking her brains out for money. Virgie is a victim in this travesty and Anna and Howard are the conspirators of evil doing. Thank God that Dannilynn has had the good fortune of a father like Larry.

Parents and grandparents give up their own lifetimes and even life itself or their kids. Anna trusted her Mom with her son Danny, until Anna got richer and could keep Danny with her on location. Virgie Arthur wanted her daughter buried in Texas, and Danny, too. She loves them, it's that simple. If I were the parent of little Dannielynn, I wouldn't want her near Vergi Arthur (Grandmother or not!) This woman is strange indeed. I can't imagine anything worse than having a precious little baby/child around someone like Virgi. I am so happy that Larry finally has his little jewel. I just know that he is going to be the best dad yet. Dannielynn will be well taken care of (and I'm not referring to money!) She will have a good home, family, aunts & uncles and cousins, a good school, a wonderful dad and all the fun things that come with growing up. I do hope that Larry will raise her out of the Hollywood enviornment. She deserves this. I am so glad that Larry had the photos taken of himself and Dannielynn. Can't wait to get the magazine. She is a precious little doll and I know that he is just bursting at the seams with pride and loving her to pieces. She is so blessed having Larry for her dad. I wish them both the very best.

JamieFigure and Shannon: Are you kidding me? Family is NOT always the best for anyone. I've experienced it and know that for a fact. It is just a figure of speech that blood is thicker than water. People do NOT have automatically have RIGHTS to any family member. Maybe you are not very experienced in these situations. Each case must be judged on its on merits. Maybe she would be a great grandmother; maybe she would NOT be. That is for the PARENT to decide. We have a choice as to who our underaged children can or cannot see. Again, it is NOT automatic. Get your head out of your butt.

I agree...Virgie Arthur's intentions are not sincere nor is she. When this thing started I felt sorry for her and gave her a lot of rope...until she hung herself with that rope in court. Things went downhill from there. Also, I have been trying to follow the recreate the genealogy of this family and I have to say you need a damned flowchart to figure it out. No wonder Anna avoided the question of who were her siblings, etc. She was likely as unclear about the answer as I am now.

I think it is very poor form to constantly run down Virgie Arthur, as from the VERY BEGINNING this woman has maintained her concern has been her family (daughter, grandson, granddaughter) has been under the "care" and control of Howard K Stern and this is something she has been trying to prevent or minimize. She even forewarned Anna Nicole of what her own faith could be after Daniel died !!. She tried to prevent Anna Nicole being buried in the Bahamas, not because she did not want Anna to be with her own son, but she did not want her daughter and grandson buried in the Bahamas under the control of Howard K Stern. Of late she has been trying to stop Howard K Stern from having guardianship or control over Dannielynn's future and never once has Virgie Arthur ever said anything bad about Larry Birkhead. In fact she has always openly said she hoped he would be Dannielynns father and has been very supportive of Larry Birkhead in his quest to prove paternity. Virgie Arthur is also very happy Larry Birkhead is in fact Dannielynns father, so I don't know why there is always such a public bagging of Virgie Arthur. This woman is still only trying to save the very little of what is now left of her daughters family .........

I have no doubt it's all about the money.I think if Anna stayed away from her mother it would be a terrible thing if her daughter ended up with her.I know Anna had her problems,but her mother must have been very bad for her to not associate with her.I think the only person who has this childs best interests at heart and has always from day one,Larry he's this childs father and since he's been trying to prove he was her dad long before Anna died and this whole money issue came up,he's the rightful person to raise this child.I think her really loves her and can provide a good life for the little girl,and that is something she's really gonna need and deserves.

I think all of you speaking should think a little clearer than you are. This is the Grandmother of this baby. Believe it or not Family plays an important part in raising children. I am glad to har we know know who the baby is but I dislike the fact that Larry was no where to be found in pursuing his daughter when Anna Nicole was alive. Now that he is in the picture he and Virgir Arther should be in the babies life. Family does matter and is very important. If she really cared about Dannielynn then she would have been trying to help her mother to help Dannielynn out when Anna was still alive. She would love her then as she "supposedly" does now. Dannielynn's well being was a concern when Anna was alive but mommie dearest didn't seem to care to much back then. If she did, she would have tried her darnest to make peace with her daughter for the sake of little Dannielynn.... hmmmmmm
