Larry Birkhead, the man claiming to be the father of the baby posted a message on his blog, larrybirkhead.net. He wrote:

Our daughter, Dannnielynn is a constant reminder of the love we shared and the life that we desired...

I disagree, I do not like this man. I find him to be distasteful in her life and now in her death. I do agree however, that is sad....

They will find out soon enough who the real father is, because now they will have to grant the ferternity test. In my opinion I really do think that Mr. Birkhead is the father. Their was no reason for Anna to prolong that test unless she herself thought that it was in fact Mr. Birkhead's daughter. She lost one child if it got out that in fact Dannielyn was Mr. Birkhead's he would take then have custody, and she would more then likely lose the rights to see this child as well.

I dissagree with your statement, If Larry B. honestly believes Dannilyn belongs to him, he has every right in the world to go after a paternity test. Anna had no right to deny him the test, if the baby was Howards child, why didn't they submit to the test? That would have solved everything..And I don't know how much grieving ANS did after Daniel died..his body was still sitting in a morgue, more than 30 days later. And Her and Howard were froliking on a boat, having a fake wedding ceremony...please..everything she did was about money. Selling the last pics of Daniel alive to the highest bidder....Its sad when anyone that young dies, but if anyone is at fault, its Anna and her fake husband who supplied her with the drugs.

I'm sorry but anything that Mr. Birkhead has to say leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth. The fact that she experienced dual life altering situations back to back made me feel like Mr. Birkhead is a pariah starving for media attention. How dare he pursue a woman who is in such a fragile condition, she may have been experiencing post partum depression, as well as severe depression over the death of her son. I think Mr. Birkhead, his spotlight chasing lawyer and all others who have pursued her after the death of her son so viciously, should hold take responsibility for what happened to Anna Nicole Smith. This woman is not even cold yet, and there's an emergency court proceeding, that definitely looks like he's mourning her death. My feeling is Anna Nicole should be allowed the peace in death that she didn't get in life. What will happen is Larry Birkhead is proven not to be the father?
