Anna Nicole Smith’s former psychiatrist Khristine Eroshevich turned herself in to the Los Angeles Police Department this morning to face the charges that she provided her with addictive prescription drugs.
Eroshevich showed up to the Van Nuys Police Station at 10:30AM and was booked shortly after. Her bail was set at $20,000, and she was released soon afterwards.
She was the last of the three to turn herself over to the authorities after being charged.
She, doctor Sandeep Kapoor, and Howard K. Stern all face arraignments on May 13th. Eroshevich and Kapoor both face one count of obtaining a prescription for opiates by giving a false name or address and one count each of obtaining a prescription for opiates by "fraud, deceit or misrepresentation," according to the district attorney's office.
That’s in addition to the charges all three of them face, which is "unlawfully prescribing a controlled substance" and conspiring to "commit the crimes of prescribing, administering and dispensing controlled substances to an addict,” according to the LA County District Attorney.
This does not sound like it will end well for these three. There’s no doubt about it that Anna Nicole was on way too many drugs. And someone needs to be held responsible.
She was released at 1:58 PM PT.
