Anna Nicole Smith, was born Vicki Lynn Hogan on November 28, 1967 in Mexia, Texas. She was abandoned by her father, and raised by her mother and aunt. She became very close with her aunt and cousin, who helped her through many lonely times as a child. Anna Nicole dropped out of high school at age 17 and married Billy Smith. In the same year she gave birth to her son Daniel. Anna Nicole Smith grew up to be an American sex symbol, model, actress and celebrity. She gained notoriety by posing for Playboy. She had a highly publicized marriage to billionaire J. Howard Marshall who was 63 years her senior. He died months later and Anna Nicole spent many years in court battling his family for a share of his estate. After a bitter court battle Anna was rewarded $450 million. On August 4, 2002 Anna Nicole starred in her own reality show on the E! network called The Anna Nicole Show. During the show Anna Nicole had gained considerable amount of weight but people still tuned in to see her wackiness. After her show was canceled, Anna Nicole spent the next few years surrounded in conflict. Her 20-year-old son, Daniel, suddenly died in 2006 in his mother’s hospital room in the Bahamas. Days before she had given birth to daughter Dannielynn. Anna spent the next few months defending her sons sudden death and fighting for paternity of her new born daughter Dannielynn. Amidst all the conflict, on February 8, 2007, Anna Nicole was found unconscious in her Florida hotel room. She was pronounced dead upon arrival to the hospital. Before he finished the story I was already downstairs trying to change my room."

When her second daughter, Emilia, was a baby, she heard loud giggling on their baby monitor between spaces of silence. When she went into her daughter’s room, she saw a woman standing over the crib. Now that’s freaky!

The singer dropped $5K for a Ghostbuster machine to do a “spirit-seeking sweep” of one of the London venues on her Monster’s Ball tour.
One of her aides had to buy the kit, which includes an electro-magnetic field reader. Owner of the “ghost-busting firm,” Dan Webb, told the Sunday Mirror, “Her aide said the gear had to be robust as they were taking it on the road, so they must be doing this every where Lady Gaga is performing.”

The freakiest ghost stor goes to Michelle Williams, who claims she has been visited by ex-fiancé Heath Ledger‘s ghost on several occasions.
According to Michelle, Heath visited her three months after his death at 3 a.m. and she awoke to her bedroom furniture being moved before seeing a shadowy figure that looked like Heath. The second time he visited, Williams said that he apologized for not helping her to raise their daughter Matilda.

Howard was the creep that fueled her prescription drug problem, which ultimately led to her death.
One of her doctors, Khristine Eroshevich, was also convicted on four charges, but doctor Sandeep Kapoor, was cleared of all counts.
The case has been going on for only two months, but it feels like 10 years. Howard is due back in court on January 6th for sentencing. Enjoy your last New Year creep bag...and don’t drop the soap!

According to TMZ, a judge found enough evidence against Howard K. Stern, Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, Dr. Khristine Eroshevich to bring them to trial over the death of Anna Nicole.
The three will appear back in court on December 11th. Also, the judge has allowed a video of the former Playboy model to be placed in evidence but not played in court.
Superior Court Judge Robert J. Perry said Friday he was not sure if the 2006 video of Smith painting her face like a clown at a child's birthday party showed she was under the influence of drugs.
Lawyers for Smith's boyfriend, Howard K. Stern, objected to admitting the video at the preliminary hearing, which will determine whether Stern and two doctors should stand trial for illegally giving Smith drugs.

According to Popeater, the bureau investigated Anna in 2000 and 2001 in a murder-for-hire plot targeting E. Pierce Marshall, who was trying to keep his fathers money away from Anna Nicole.
"Smith adamantly denied ever contemplating such a crime," an agent wrote, and prosecutors eventually agreed the case could not go forward.
An April 26, 2001, letter to the FBI from Sally Meloch, an assistant U.S. attorney, said she reviewed the reports but "determined that there is insufficient evidence to establish that there was a murder-for-hire plot by Ms. Smith to kill Pierce Marshall."
The case against Anna was eventually dropped because there wasn't enough evidence to charge her. She died in 2007 from a drug overdose and E. Pierce Marshall passed away in 2006.

According to a new report, the former lawyer and boyfriend of Anna Nicole Smith will be charged with five additional charges related to allegedly conspiring to administer drugs to her.
TMZ reports that the prosecutors will attempt to charge Stern during a court hearing today. Stern and Smith’s doctors, Khristine Eroshevich and Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, are already facing six felony charges in the case.
California Attorney General Jerry Brown said in a statement in March, “These individuals repeatedly and excessively furnished thousands of prescription pills to Anna Nicole Smith, often for no legitimate medical purpose.
"This case is not a minor league case. Thousands of pills were put into the body of Anna Nicole Smith. The maximum sentence is several years, one count could be as high as three years, and there are 11 counts.” Stern’s attorney previously said his client will “ultimately be exonerated.”

Furthermore, according to the LA Times, L.A. Times, three pharmacists refused to fill the prescriptions Eroshevich and Kapoor had written. One of the pharmacists claims he reacted by saying to himself, "They are going to kill her with this." He also allegedly called the meds “prescription suicide.”
Five days after Anna’s son Daniel died, Eroshevich asked for two sedatives, 300 tablets of methadone, a muscle relaxer, an anti-inflammatory drug and 4 bottles of a painkiller.
Authorities also allegedly found photos of Anna Nicole and Eroshevich naked and embracing in a bathtub. There is also a photo of Kapoor "kissing and nuzzling" Anna Nicole.
Dr. Kapoor’s attorney Ellyn Garofalo defends her client saying, "There's been a misreading of the medical records. When all the facts are disclosed, they will show that Dr. Kapoor's treatment of Anna Nicole Smith was in good faith and consistent with good medical practice."
