Six kids and seven years later, Brad Pitt has finally put a ring on it! In case you’ve been living under a rock, this is the biggest news from the weekend. Hollywood weighs in on Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s impending nuptials.
Hollyscoop chatted with Emma Roberts at the A|X Armani Exchange + T-Mobile Neon Carnival at Coachella and she gushed to us about Angie’s new bling, “The ring is beautiful, lucky girl.”
Ryan Seacrest tweeted his congratulations, “6 kids, 7 years, and a gazillion tabloid covers later, Angie and Brad engaged! Congrats guys.”
Brad and Angie previously announced that they wouldn’t get married until all same-sex couples could marry, so what does his pal Ellen Degeneres think about their engagement?
“You guys can get hitched AND still fight the good fight for marriage equality,” Ellen announced at her and Brad’s Make It Right Gala last month.
While other celebs are congratulating the happy couple, one person couldn’t care less….Jennifer Aniston.
“She doesn’t care,” an Aniston friend tells E! News, “She really doesn’t. She’s happy with Justin Theroux…She’s moved on.”
As for predictions on the wedding, executive editor of The Hollywood Reporter Stephen Galloway says, “This is really a state wedding. This is America’s equivalent to Prince William and Kate Middleton.”
Bradley Jacobs, senior editor of Us Weekly says he thinks Hollywood royal couple will keep things much more low-key, "I don't think you're going to see a bunch of fanfare," he said. "It's certainly not going to be a Kim Kardashian-style wedding... It's going to be very subdued."
