Charlize Theron Replaced by Angelina in Thriller

Charlize Theron is getting replaced! According to Reuters, the A-list actress was lined up for the leading role in the upcoming movie The Tourist but has dropped out of the movie and now Angelina Jolie is being courted for the role.

The plot centers around an American tourist who, on behalf of Interpol, goes undercover to entrap a former lover who's a suspected global criminal. It’ll require a lot of action, which we know our girl Angie can definitely take on. Salt hasn’t even come out yet, but based on the stills from the set, we know Angie isn’t afraid of doing her own stunts!

As for the male lead, Tom Cruise was originally attached to the part, but it will now go to Sam Worthington. Production is tentatively set to begin in early 2010.
