Celebs Design Kites for Charity

November 29, 2007

A-list celebs like Madonna, Angelina Jolie and Cher have all designed kites for charity. The special kites, which will be auctioned off on eBay next month, will help raise money for the Afghanistan Relief Organization (AFO), which will be used to train new teachers and construct libraries in Afghanistan.

Other celebs that helped design kites were 'James Bond' star Daniel Craig, Benicio Del Toro, Billy Bob Thornton, Halle Berry, Edward Norton, Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Biel, Kate Winslet, Will Ferrell and Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal.

If you’re the winner of the auction you'll also get a chance to visit the set of the new James Bond as a personal guest of director Marc Forster. We'll get you guys more info as soon as the auction launches!

I think they deserve everything they have worked for. It takes allot to get to the top. What they have they deserve it, and they should do anything their little heart desires.

yeah you'd think with the money these celebs have that they would pool some of their funds together to raise the money for afghan relief - no instead design a freakin' kite and auction it off so the middle class can contribute their earnings to this fund! They are all overpaid and I can't believe they can sleep at night knowing that they spend millions on homes and cars and yet they look to the little man to help with all their charities! All of them should go fly a kite.
