Cannes Film Fest Full Into Effect

Its one of the biggest events in Entertainment, some call it the European Oscars. With its azure coastline, thousands of papparazis, mile long red carpet and the glitz and glamour that takes over the biggest film festival in the world, it’s the city of Cannes and it’s going off.

Last night was the opening night for the 60th annual Cannes film festival with the premiere of Jude Law’s latest flick "Blueberry Night". A romantic drama which he stars with singer Norah Jones.

The talk of the town wasn’t so much about the movies but who was wearing what. Elizabeth Hurley walked the red carpet with designer Valentino as she sported his infamous red dress and Bai Ling opted for a hot pink gown.

Also still very much in honeymoon mode were the new golden couple of Indian film Aishwarya Rai and her husband Abhishek Bachan.

We hear Jessica Simpson is currently in town and the cast of Oceans 13 will make their way for their world premiere along with Angelina Jolie who will premiere her latest flick "A Mighty Heart." With so much going on in Cannes we only wish we were there.

Other stars that made their way on the red carpet included Devon Aoki, Kerry Washington, Gong Li and Andie McDowell, Victoria Silvstedt, Shu Qi among others.
