Brangelina Still Donating Big

Speaking of celeb humanitarians, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are still the reigning Queen and King of charity.

In 2006 alone, Brangelina donated more than $8 million dollars of their money to charity. And there are still no signs of them slowing down.

According to the first federal filing for the Jolie Pitt Foundation, Pitt put in $4,402,317 while Jolie donated $4,123,613.

Say what you will about the power couple, but they're actually making a difference in the world. Kudos to Brangelina!

Amen to that. I find their parade of false humanitarianism nauseating. The Jolie Pitt Foundation? Gee I wonder where the money REALLY goes. More than likely right back into their own bank accounts with an enormous tax deduction. I haven't heard of any countries actually thanking them for their "charity" and I doubt seriously that there is any thanks to be given. Shame on them. Shame shame shame.....

I just call a spade when I see a spade. "K" you are exactly right they do make at least 20mil a pic. (don't know why they both suck) they also claim they split everything in thirds? 1/3 for charity 1/3 for saving and 1/3 for spending? I think they need to take a math class it's just not adding up!! With that kind of money, they absolutly SHOULD donate more. Have you noticed also that all of there big charities are not even in this country? $5000.00 to orphanages is she insane? That's a slap in the face to the poor children who need help in her own damn Country. Charity begins at home. I say since they seem to love other countries more than there own take your "blob"overseas and don't bother coming back. Maybe since Angie thinks we should stay in Iraq she and Brad and there little army of kids should live there for a year and then see how she feels. What a freakin idiot. She doesn't even care about her own child wondering the streets of Iraq pregnant with a bullet proof vest around her stomach. Do you honestly think she cares about your children (soldiers) over there? Funny how some of you really buy into the whole $$$$ Celeb fame thing. Just because they have $$$ and fame doesn't automatically make them saintly or smart. Brad and Angie are prime examples of that!!

It takes a confident and considerate person to give anonymously without looking for recognition and praise. THE Pitt's could learn a thing or two from those types of people. These dopes try and make people "aware" with their overkill PR and then they ask for the hand outs and donations to back their pet projects! $8mil between the two of them? Don't they both make $20 mil per movie, charge for photos of the kids, do commercials overseas,represent clothing companies and give a gazillion interviews? I would think they could pony up more donations than that!?

I adore Angie and Brad,for the kind of Beautiful people that they are.i always said to my fiance that since celebrities make so much money why don't they give some to charity, cause they way they flaunt there money to the world.instead of spending thousands on shopping. why don't they just give to charity and flaunt it in a good way.celebs already have it all, so why can they think about others for once, and not themselves like Brad and Angie. i love you guys and keep up the good work. i admire you two for everything you do.that's why you guys are so blessed.much love and respect. xoxoxoxo

Its a foundation and all these groups have to make all their expenses known to the public (from what I understand). That way people can research exactly where they donations are going.

They don't flaunt that they are giving money. Givingback.org list many celebrities. I don't think it has been updated. But if they are flaunting then so is Oprah, Barbra Streisand, Tiger Woods and many others. The media always finds a way to find these facts out and print them. And good for them,all the celebrities out there that are doing way more then I could ever do. And so what if they are doing it for publicity. There are many charities that are being helped and I am sure they don't mind the praises the stars get as long as they get the support.

This must be another publicity stunt for the couple. Why else would they have to tell everyone how much they donate? Lots of people donate a lot of money (even more that these two idiots) and they don't flaunt it. These two need there ego's stroked constantly. It's getting old!!! Sorry Brad and Angie but no matter what you do or how much you donate, you are still liers, cheaters and whores. Money can't change that. IYou derserve each other.
