Who knew Obama was a Brangelina fan?
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were photographed hanging out in the Oval Office of the White House on Wednesday. The two are in Washington D.C. for a screening of In The Land of Blood and Honey at the Holocaust Memorial Museum.
Angelina reportedly met with Obama to discuss sexual violence against women. I’m guessing it was about putting a stop to it and not, you know, just casual conversation. The meeting was about Jolie’s work with the United Nations.
This isn’t the couple’s first meeting with the President. Back in 2009, Pitt met with Obama to discuss his work in rebuilding New Orleans’ 9th Ward after Hurricane Katrina.
Brad and Angelina have been making the rounds for awards season as well as to promote In The Land of Blood and Honey, which has a Golden Globe nomination.
Hollyscoop talked to Brad at the Palm Springs International Film Festival where he told us about his movie of the year, Moneyball.
“I’ve done films that actually cost me money,” Brad told Hollyscoop. “You know sometimes you know you pick yours, you do some for a bigger release and then you do some that are labors of love and these two were that so it’s very nice to see it pay off this way.”
When asked whether he hopes his children with Angelina Jolie will follow in their parents’ footsteps, Brad told us:
“Whatever they want to do. You know, whatever makes them happy. But not till they’re 18.”
