Forget the kids, all 20 ish of them, mommy and daddy have to go make a movie together! I’m sure the nanny(s) will do a decent job.
Deadline.com is reporting that the couple is appearing alongside Michael Fassbender and Javier Barden in “The Counselor” to be directed by Ridley Scott.
Fassbender plays a crooked lawyer who tries to get into the drug business to make a quick buck, but it quickly spirals out of control. Pitt is playing a character named West Ray, who may or may not be a villain, and Jolie is playing the lead female. That’s all that is known about this project so far.
This will be the first time that Pitt has teamed up with Ridley Scott since he launched his career back in “Thelma & Louise.”
The movie begins shooting in June in Europe. Both the Jolie-Pitts and Scott have homes in the south of France. Oh, how convenient for them.
This is a surprising move for the Jolie-Pitts who once vowed never to do films at the same time so someone is always at home with the kids.
“We’re not ones to repeat ourselves, but we’d like to, because right now we’re hopscotching with films so one can be with the kids and one’s free to work,” Jolie said recently, “Why aren’t we doing movies together? Why aren’t we doing everything together?”
