It seems like Brad and Angelina donate money to different causes every day. But maybe it's because there are so many organizations near and dear to their hearts. Plus, it's not like another million is going to make a difference to them at this point.
The couple just donated $1 million to the Human Rights Watch's work in Burma and Zimbabwe through the Jolie-Pitt foundation. The gift will allow the Human Rights Watch to continue to document and expose the inhumane treatment in both countries and urge for a change. The grant from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation will be used to fund research and advocacy in the countries.
Kenneth Roth, the executive director at HRW said, "Brad and Angelina's investment in our work at this critical moment will allow intensified efforts by our researchers to expose the repression that these governments try to keep hidden and by our advocates to generate the global pressure needed to improve people's lives."
They never cease to amaze us with their generosity towards third world countries and people who are in serious need.
