Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are constantly in the headlines. Sometimes negative things are printed about the high profile couple, but there’s one thing that can’t be denied—they’re extremely generous!

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Brad and Angie donated total of $6.8 million to various charities last year. THR obtained a copy of the couple’s tax return which proved the amount.

The report says their Jolie-Pitt foundation earned just over $13 million -- half of which they gave to charity. The recipients were: Global Health ($2 million), Human Rights Watch ($1 million), Brad's Make it Right Foundation ($1 million), which has been building eco-friendly homes for Hurricane Katrina victims in New Orleans.

They also gave $500,000 to the Armed Services YMCA of the U.S. Army; $50,000 to the Springfield, Missouri Public Schools where Brad is from, and about a million dollars to projects in Cambodia, which is where son Maddox is from.

It’s nice to finally see a positive report about Brad and Angie. We’re so used to hearing gossip about them allegedly fighting or splitting up. But it sounds like everything is great with them, and that they’re still focused on bettering the world as best they can.

It's nice to see someone helping the people of New Orleans because the government and insurance companoes aren't. Oprah and Brad have done so much for the people. But most are still without homes and settlements.

The are such giving people. Good for those people who will benefit. I'm sure they need it badly.
