Baby Zahara Needs Hip Operation

September 13, 2007

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's adopted daughter Zahara may have to undergo a painful hip operation to correct her hip dysplasia. Baby Zahara has a condition in which her thigh is connected to her hip improperly and it could affect her ability to walk in the future.

A source close to the couple said, "Brad and Angelina have talked with their pediatrician, who told them Zahara may need to have surgery."

When the Jolie/Pitt's first adopted Zahara from Ethiopia she suffered from malnutrition and dehydration as well as salmonella poisoning.

My cousin just adopted a baby and it too needed a hip operation - Are there any baby chairs, strollers, ANYTHING that can be used to carry the baby - Samantha is 16 months old - She was adopted at 9 months of from Guatemala - The casts are placed so that the legs are spread completely apart - It is so difficult to carry her and she can't go outdoors because there is no way to cart her HELP Thank you
