Angelina Jolie gave an exclusive interview to People magazine about the adoption of her new son Pax Jolie. Unfortunately we can’t post the cover because we received a letter from their lawyers threatening to sue us if we did.
In the magazine, Jolie talks about the challenges her new son will face, adapting to new surroundings, and her commitment to make the transition as smooth as possible for her family.
On the challenges her new son will face :
"You can imagine what courage it takes to be in all new surroundings, with new people and a new language," she says. "He is very strong."
On her commitment to ensure a smooth transition:
"It will take him a while to realize he has a family," she says, "and that his new life is permanent and that it won't keep changing."
On the bonding experience:
"We are slowly beginning to build his trust and bond," Jolie says, "but it will feel complete only when we are all together."
