Angelina Jolie Slams Madonna's Adoption

The "Queen of Adoption" is speaking out against the "Queen of Pop". Angelina Jolie claims Madonna's adoption of an African boy is "illegal." The actress revealed to French magazine Gala, "Personally, I prefer to stay on the right side of the law. I would never take a child away from a place where adoption is illegal. Madonna knew the situation in Malawi, where he was born. It's a country where there is no real legal framework for adoption."

Jolies recent rant follows other criticism the pop diva has received since her adoption of 16 month old David Banda. Madonna and her hubby Guy Ritchie were accused of using their celebrity and wealth to whisk David out of Malawi. Although the world may criticize Madonna the country where she adopted her child is quite satisfied. In a statement released on Friday, the Malawian government said it was pleased with the care the boy was receiving in London, where he lives with Madonna, Ritchie and her children, Lourdes, 10, and Rocco, 6.

After weighing in the situation, Jolie had a change of heart for Madonna and revealed to Gala, "I have been horrified by the attacks she's been subjected to. All that should count is the happiness of her little David." At this point there are no comments from Madonna but we have this feeling this dispute between two Hollywood divas will be as intense as the Donald vs. Rosie feud.

Where does Jolie get off saying what is right and wrong. Madge saved a boy from a fate of poverty and possible death and the government is allowing her to adopt so whats the issue. Is Jolie actually mad because she tried to adopt from there but was told no from the get go? Or because Madge is getting more press behind her adoption? Jolie needs to get over herself and fast!

Madonna talked trash about Angelina first. Here's the article: "Madonna has outraged Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie by criticising their charity work. The couple have been left "shocked" after the singer blasted their involvement in building an orphanage in India. A source told Britain's Star magazine: "Angelina is shocked. She was like, 'Where did that come from?' It seemed like a personal attack. "Angelina thinks the worst part of it all is that Madonna could have used the opportunity to say something that could actually be of benefit to someone." Madonna also trivialised Angelina's role as a UN Goodwill Ambassador. The 48-year-old pop superstar said: "I'm not interested in going in there like an idiot and going, 'OK, I'm going to build ten orphanages and I'll see you guys later.'" "I could've joined the UN and become an ambassador, visited various countries and just showed up and smiled and looked concerned. But that's not getting to the root of the problem. And neither is building orphan care centres." So, yeah.She's a hater and needs to shut her trap.

madonna does have a point about approaching the problem. she's right that it's not enough to just go through the motions, however she is also not offering a better solution....and orphan care centres certainly DO Help. then again her comments may have been fabricated by Star, they have done that in the past.

Jelly I was thinking the same thing. I mean come on quoting things from star isn't something to be proud of. In anycase, I didn't see any actual quotes in which Madonna mentioned Brad and Angie's name and I have read somewhere that Brad is friends with Madonna's husband so why would she bash them? Just like alot of these tabloid mags, they are trying to fuel the fires between celebs. And if Jolie actually talked against Madonna's adoption then she does need to shut her trap and quit trying to be a media whore desperate to keep her name in the press by bashing others who decides to adopt as well. Jolie must really think she is the first and should be the only star to adopt outside of the US. This has been happening for years and if ANYONE can adopt ANY child who is parentless, it should be seen as a blessing REGARDLESS of race, REGARDLESS of what others think.

angie is just trying to stay in the spotlight first she confess her love for brad and say that she din't say it then she diss her own child what kind of mother is that. she does not need to adopt another child at all.
