Angelina Jolie Named Highest Paid Actress

Angelina Jolie has been named the highest paid actress by Forbes magazine beating out stars like Jennifer Aniston and last years winner, Cameron Diaz.

Jolie brought home $27 million dollars between June 2008 and June 2009, thanks to her role in the box office hit, Wanted and the paycheck she already got for Salt.

Coming in at second place (aww, again) is Jennifer Aniston, whose earnings from Marley & Me, her royalties from Friends and her SmartWater campaign gave her a total of $25 million.

Veteran actress Meryl Streep rounded out the top three, making $24 million.

Here are the top fifteen highest paid actresses according to Forbes:

1. Angelina Jolie: $27 million
2. Jennifer Aniston: $25 million
3. Meryl Streep: $24 million
4. Sarah Jessica Parker: $23 million
5. Cameron Diaz: $20 million
6. Sandra Bullock: $15 million
6. Reese Witherspoon: $15 million
8. Nicole Kidman: $12 million
8. Drew Barrymore: $12 million
10. Renee Zellweger: $10 million
11. Cate Blanchett: $8 million
12.-Anne Hathaway: $7 million
12. Halle Berry: $7 million
14. Scarlett Johansson: $5.5 million
15. Kate Winslet: $2 million

The top 10 actors earned $393 million, compared with $183 million for the top 10 actresses.

She's incredibly talented, stunningly beautiful, highly intelligent and insanely generous. For ever charity she publicly supports (bringing attention to the cause, you dipsh!ts), there are several that her involvement isn't splashed all over the press for. This woman gives AT LEAST 1/3rd of her income to charities (trust me, you want people like her to give money to refugee charities so that your tax dollars aren't used instead)! Both foreign and domestic! As for the ancient subject of the Brad and Jen split, I suspect that they never would have married if they'd bothered to seriously discuss the kinds of families they each wanted before hand. Jennifer Aniston seems like a perfectly nice, typically vapid Hollywood actress. And I wish her the best. But she and Brad Pitt never should have married. They have different values and goals.

celebrities are to promote charities, so when celebrities like Angelina Jolie gave to charity, they purposely makes it sooo public so people are aware of the charity & the causes, so general public will hopefully donate. No woman can steal any husband if the man not willing to be lured away. So blame Brad!!!!

She and Brad Pimp out there kids for pictures in Rag Mags for ridiculous $$$$ and then they give $$$$$ to OTHER Countries, and then take the Tax write off here in our Country. NOT IMPRESSED!!!On top of that, they have to let the world know what they donated to promote their careers. Jen keeps her donations private and only promotes charities with her name publicly, as it should be.

I am so sick of you people bashing Angelina Jolie. She is very talented and shouldnt be compared to Aniston. Aniston is good in her little comedy movies, Angie is awesome in her movies. There is nothing boring about Angie's movie. Wanted rocked! Angie is not racing Jenn. She gives most of her money to charity, in my eyes, that make this woman not only talented but a giving caring woman. stop living in the past. This is a mother, not a ho as you put it.
