Angelina Jolie made her third trip to Iraq on behalf of the UN to bring attention to the plight of displaced people within the country (around 3 million) and outside of Iraq.
This is the third time that Angie has visited the war-torn country. She spoke to the locals, saying, ”I want to come back and find you in a better place and in a different situation.
"We hope that UNHCR and the government will support you in getting a piece of land. You need help not because you are poor, but because you are the future of Iraq.”
Jolie was on her third visit to Iraq since she became a volunteer for the United Nations goodwill program in 2001. She spent time with four families who were displaced from Abu Ghraib. Check out the clip of her talking to CNN about the changes in the country below...
