Angelina Jolie doubled her annual income this year--and she did it with just one movie.
Jolie got paid $20 million dollars for the spy thriller Salt, which was originally supposed to star Tom Cruise. Bet Tom wishes he chose Salt over Day & Knight!
Salt producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura tells The Hollywood Reporter, "It's definitely unusual that a female has become an action star. But it's a funny thing. She's not a female action star; she's an action star. She's really the first female to transcend gender. I don't think it's occurred before."
Earlier this month Forbes list released their annual list of the richest and most powerful celebs and Angie was number 18 on that list with $20 million.
With her combined salary from Salt and The Tourist, we bet she'll be back in the top 10 next year.
