Actress/ UN Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie recently revealed shocking information about being the target for a kidnapping plot. In a exclusive interview with the "News Of The World" Angelina tells all about the dangers she encountered.
" It was in a small village, " she says. " I won't say where, or with whom, but some gangsters planned to kidnap me and extort a massive ransom. I was warned at the last minute, and managed to escape, luckily. "
Angie's globe trotting lifestyle worried her partner Brad Pitt, who has voiced concerns for their safety as a family and tried to encourage her to spend more time at their Hollywood home.
However Angie is one tough cookie and despite the kidnap threat, she will not stop her devotion to helping others.
" I don't want to act like the Mother Teresa of Hollywood, "she insists. " But I want to help where there is poverty and destruction. I love Brad very much and on our trips we pull together as a team. Things only get difficult when it affects our children. "
Kudos to Mother Angelina! Now, if more stars would follow her footsteps rather than occupying space in rehab the world might be a better place.
