As we mentioned yesterday, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were at the Santa Barbara Film Festival because Angie was being honored with the Festival's Outstanding Performance of the Year Award for her performance in “The Mighty Heart.”
Taking the stage Angie discussed many things about her personal life to a crowd of anxious fans and industry insiders.
Some things she talked about during the session were:
On being technologically impaired:
"As Brad knows, I don't really how to turn on a computer."
On working with her father:
"Strangely enough, the scene was about a daughter and her father who had not spent their lives together and had a lot of questions for each other ...[It was] kind of therapeutic for us to get some things out and talk. We spent that time as two artists, and it was a special time. It was an important time," discussing sharing a scene with her estranged father Jon Voight in Tomb Raider with her father Jon Voight.
On who was the better tango dancer on Mr. & Mrs. Smith:
"I think we're about equal," she replied. "Equally not so good."
On starring in Mr & Mrs. Smith with Brad Pitt:
"obviously I'm very glad I did it - It changed my life."
On what her first passion is:
"I love being a mom, and I think that's my big passion: being with my family."
