The 73 year-old Oscar winner was estranged from his daughter for years. The two reconciled in 2009, with Voight saying: "We love each other, and that’s the most important thing.”
Jolie’s jeweler, Robert Procop, confirmed that he designed the couple’s 6-carat engagement ring, worth an estimated $250,000. From there, Pitt’s manager, Cynthia Pett-Dante told the Associated Press:
“Yes, it's confirmed. It is a promise for the future and their kids are very happy. There’s no date set at this time. Brad designed the ring.”
Angelina has already been photographed with her ring in tow. She went to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Wednesday, taking in a special viewing of a Chinese art exhibit. Angelina was photographed with the ring on as she checked out an exhibit with her son, Pax.
Last month, Hollywood Life reported that Angelina was looking forward to walking down the aisle with her man.
“Now that the sun is shining on them again, Angelina seems to be quite eager to tie the knot,” a source told them. “She’s finally ready to be Mrs. Brad Pitt. She’s actually getting really excited about it!”
