Andy Samberg

Say it aint so! Without Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg and Jason Sudeikis, SNL will just be a show full of what’s-his-face and that-other-guy. Seriously, name one other cast member on SNL besides Seth Myers? Exactly.

Sources say that those three key SNL players are ready to move on to bigger and better things.

“Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg and Jason Sudeikis are all leaving after the end of the season. It will be a huge blow to the show.

One of our favorite SNL guys is moving over to MTV for a night! Andy Samberg will be hosting the 18th Annual MTV Movie Awards this year.

The network announced the news this morning about Andy, who sounds really excited for the gig.

He says, "I'm super excited to host the movie awards. I grew up watching the show and a lot of the past hosts are heroes of mine. Plus my friends and I were writers for the show prior to working at SNL, so it will be a sweet and satisfying homecoming. I can't wait to act really important.”

And MTV thinks Andy is the perfect guy for the job.

GM Stephen Friedman says, "Andy's connection with the MTV audience is so strong...it's electric. We can't wait to see what subversive take he’ll have on our audience’s favorite movies of the year. We, like Andy's many fans, are thrilled he’s decided to grace MTV with his unique talent."

Anyone who comes up with D**k In A Box is a genius to us! Tune in to the MTV Movie Awards May 31st!

If you’re in the mood for some laughs this weekend, we got a great flick for you-- “Space Chimps” which stars Andy Samberg and Cheryl Hines.

"Space Chimps" is an intergalactic comedy that highlights the antics of astronaut chimps with the “wrong stuff." Ham III (Samberg), the slacker grandson of the first chimp blasted into space before manned spaceflight, joins two other astronaut chimps for a dangerous mission through a black hole to an inhabited planet.

When they're stranded there, the chimps must help the inhabitants rid themselves of a tyrannical leader, and then figure out how to get back to Earth.

Hollyscoop hit the movie junket and got the “10 seconds scoop” on why we should watch this film. Check out the special video coverage below.
