Andre Agassi
Tennis champion Andre Agassi has just made a shocking revelation about himself that we didn’t see coming!

In a new autobiography about his life, Andre will reportedly confess to using meth during his tennis career.

A publicist for Knopf Publishing House says Agassi opens up about using the illegal substance throughout his career. Excerpts of the book will be released in both Sports Illustrated and People later this week.

Paul Bogaards, director of media relations at Knopf said in a statement, “Those excerpts contain revelations about Andre’s use of crystal meth when he was a tennis player.”

The information was first made public this morning on the Twitter page of Sports Illustrated writer Richard Deitsch., who wrote, “FYI: There’s an off-the-charts book excerpt from Andre Agassi in the forthcoming SI: He admits to taking crystal meth during his career.”

Andre Agassi retired in 2006 after 20 years as a professional tennis player. His career record was 870-274. Guess he had a little help along the way. The autobiography, entitled Open, will be available in Nov. 9th.

Those tennis people do party. I would have pictured Agassi a little more high end, though.
