Proof that Anderson Cooper has always been a fox (silver or otherwise), the journalist and daytime talk show host just tweeted out some photos of old press passes from the mid nineties.
The handsome salt-and-pepper type was once a yupped up twenty something with that same iconic comb over.
It seems like Anderson was on an Instagram spree. For the last few hours today he’s just been tweeting photos of items from his office. He tweeted several photos of different barbershop signs he bought in Zaire. He also tweeted a picture of his Emmy awards.
This Twitter phase comes hot off the new that Anderson’s daytime talk show is getting a facelift.
Anderson’s show is now being called “Anderson Live” and will feature rotating daily guest hosts, a new set, live airtime, and more celebrity interviews.
This decision was made when Anderson tested out guest hosts during May sweeps and it proved successful.
Also, because the show will now be live, Anderson hopes to incorporate real-time feedback from Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr.
Anderson is trying to stay ahead of his game and fight off competition as this fall sees new talk shows from “Survivor” host Jeff Prost and Katie Couric.
“Our biggest overall goal for Anderson Live is to take the best elements of daytime and put it in a show that works in 2012. Being live plays to Anderson’s strengths, providing immediacy and topicality, which allows us to talk about what is going on in the world,” says executive producer Terence Noonan.
Season 2 premieres September 10, 2012.
