Anderson Cooper

Anderson Cooper and MIA: The drama started with MIA, who tweeted, “Anderson Cooper called me a terrorist…” Pretty intense words. So Anderson shot back, “MIA you are mistaken. I never called you a terrorist. I don’t even know who you are other than the lady who sang at the Super Bowl…” Okay, Anderson: 1, MIA: 0. MIA then said that a blog on CNN called MIA a “lady Tamil tiger” because MIA was vocal about Sri Lankan civilians dying. However, Anderson had the last word, and I’m paraphrasing here, he said… MIA is dumb and those words were written by a lowly CNN blogger and Anderson doesn’t even know who MIA is.

The show is set to debut on September 12th, and the day after, Debardieu will chat with our favorite CNN anchor. Depardieu made headlines when he peed on an airplane after being told he couldn't get up to use the lavatory. Cooper made headlines when he put Depardieu on his "Ridiculist" and couldn't hold in the laughter after delivering a slew of poop-related puns.
On a more serious note, Cooper's first guests on the show will be the Winehouse family. Specifically, Cooper says he interviewed "her father, her mom, her step-mother and Aunt and her boyfriend...

On Tuesday, during a flight from Paris to Dublin, Depardieu was told he couldn't get up to use the restroom. So in retaliation, the French actor peed his pants. That'll show 'em!
On Anderson Cooper 360, the CNN news anchor added Depardieu to his "Ridiculist" segment.
"Depardieu created his own little jet stream," Cooper said. "Or as the French would say, oi oi."

The salaries of TV actors and TV reality stars are disgusting. Apparently our country has hit some kind of debt ceiling slash we'll probably have this scary thing called an economic meltdown in the near future, but no worries HOLLYWOOD TV stars, we've still got your $75 million paycheck.
Here are TV highest paid stars:
Simon Cowell used to make $35 million a year as a judge on "American Idol" and although that sum had jaws dropping, he is now reportedly making $75 million per season on his new show "X Factor." According to the Hollywood Reporter, Anderson is launching a syndicated daytime talk show.
He made a deal with Telepictures Productions and Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution for a program that will be pitched to stations in the next couple of weeks targeted to launch in fall 2011. He will also serve as an executive producer.
"Over the course of the past few years, I've had the opportunity to work on a number of daytime programs," said Anderson Cooper.
"It's fun and interesting to work in daytime television. The format is unique and you can really go in-depth on a wide range of fascinating and compelling stories. With this new program I hope to relay important information and relate to people and the audience in a completely different way. It's an exciting opportunity to show another side of myself and create something worthwhile and special in daytime."
So what's going to happen with his CNN show "360"? Absolutely nothing. "I am pleased that Anderson Cooper has extended his relationship with CNN and will be with us for years to come," said CNN Worldwide president Jim Walton in a statement Thursday morning.
"I am also pleased to congratulate Anderson on his new relationship with Telepictures. We think it will be good for Anderson, good for CNN and good for Time Warner."
Anything with Anderson Cooper should be a hit. Will you tune in for his daytime talk show?

When talking about the Balloon Boy, Kathy asked, "Fal- Fuc****? Falcon? How do you say it?"
Anderson shook his head, responding, "You're terrible. Really terrible."
Well the execs at the network agree. Insiders tell Popeater.com, "She was a total embarrassment to the network that calls themselves 'The Most Trusted Name in News.' Even Anderson thinks it's time to say goodbye to Kathy.”
Kathy went on to make jokes about drugs and sexual acts with Anderson. Check out the video below if you missed it.

So are the two networks just doing a fair trade? It would make sense, with Anderson already being a contributer to 60 Minutes, and Larry King a whopping 74 years old.
Anderson could definitely hold his own as news anchor, but is CNN looking at another flop if they let Katie replace Larry?
