Doctors to Amy: Drugs or Death

While Amy Winehouse remains hospitalized after fainting at her home earlier this week, doctors have reportedly given Amy an ultimatum: quit drugs or die.

A source tells British newspaper The Sun: "She might have escaped this time, but eventually she won't get up again. The only thing to stop that happening is if she quits drugs."

Wino's doctors said her fainting could be linked to her massive overdose last summer. She's being advised to take some time off performing and lay off the drugs and booze. Technically she hasn't been able to put on a decent performance for a year now so taking some time off isn't looking all that bad. Lets hope Amy finally gets the wake up call she desperately needs.

What nonsense that Amy Winehouse hasn't "put on a decent performance for a year now." Did you miss her on the Grammy's? And her performances from 2007 were nothing less than miraculous. As a singer, Winehouse is a genius. Her one concert from late May of this year was a disastor. She has a serious addiction and really needs to take some time to recover. I'm sure it's very difficult when she's surrounded by friends who are also addicts. I would hate to see her go out like the great Janis Joplin and become a legend who died too young and has so much to give. Amy Winehouse is a truly great artist.

Here here . She needs to take time , recover , be her own best friend . She probably knows all this , she aint stoopid ,but we all really wish that she would quit the Drugs . and not destroy her beautiful body and keep blessing us all with her creativity .

I hope Amy Winehouse can somehow pull a miracle out of her hat and become 100% clean. I think she is an amazing singer with lots of talent, it's a shame to see someone with her talent go to waste all because of drugs and drinking.
