Blake Fielder-Civil Loses Court Appeal

Looks like Blake Fielder-Civil won’t be getting out of incarceration any time soon. He appealed his 27-month sentence to two judges this morning, insisting that freedom was the only way he’d get rehabilitated, but was denied.

He only completed a third of his sentence when he was released and put into rehab earlier this month. After hearing the verdict, Blake said, "I am disappointed but not really surprised."

The judge’s reasoning for the decision was because they want to encourage Fielder-Civil to continue with the rehabilitation process, saying it is only if "these attempts are successful that he has a worthwhile future".

Still no sign of Amy visiting Blake either, which must make things a lot harder for him. She also admitted to News of the World that her marriage to him is over.
