Rapper Snoop Dogg was so impressed with Amy Winehouse's 'Back to Black' album that it inspired him to get his ass back in the studio and start recording again.
He said: 'When I'm listening to it, I'm learning who she is. It's like when you listen to James Brown, he did it by himself, and Curtis Mayfield, all by himself.'
He explained: 'I'm going to do the whole record by myself. 'I don't want no guest rappers this time round, no singers, nothing. Just Snoop Dogg! I want you to feel me.' Snoop has previously recorded with Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams, 50 Cent and Dr Dre.
Snoop's new album is expected to be out by the end of the year. He should consider naming it 'Memoirs of a Pothead.'
