Amy Winehouse to Guest Star in 'The Simpsons'

When she's not busy canceling concerts or getting liquored up at a bar, Amy Winehouse is usually working on a new project. Winehouse was asked if she'd like to guest star in an episode of 'The Simpsons' and she agreed.

A show insider said: "Amy is huge in America right now. She was asked if she would consider making an appearance on the show and she agreed. Apparently she is a big fan.

"There aren't many details about the episode yet, but we do know she meets Lisa in a blues bar and teaches her how to sing."

Winehouse is one of the latest celebrities asked to make a cameo on the longtime running show. Other celebs that were recently featured on 'The Simpsons' include Sir Paul McCartney, Rolling Stones Keith Richards and Sir Mick Jagger, Sting and The Who.

It's believed that the 'Amy Winehouse Simpsons episode' will air early next year. Let's hope people in the US still remember who Amy Winehouse is by that time. She's been on the Lindsay Lohan trainwreck express lately so hopefully she'll get off on the exit.
