You know its recovery for good when you sneak out of rehab to bar hop. That’s exactly what singer Amy Winehouse and her hubby Blake Fielder-Civil did yesterday. As we reported , the couple left their “retreat" in Essex, England to visit the “head doctor”. The two were later spotted at three pubs in Camden, where they spent 10 minutes in each joint.
The runaway junkies later made a pit stop at Amy’s house. The two were interviewed on the doorsteps by BBC Radio One . Blake confirmed that they are focused on their recovery. “The main thing is that me and Amy are getting better." "Don't worry, she's being looked after. We're going back to this retreat. She's determined to get well." "It's not as bad as everyone thinks, but she's fine, she's loved and looked after."
The Fielder-Civil revealed the only reason they came back home was to pick up a guitar. They should definitely start working on some tunes, here’s a start “Rehab is not for quitters”!
When Amy was asked if the drug abuse stories were true, she said, "I wouldn't say so, no." The singer who’s been looking extremely thin added, "I'm fine, I've put on half a stone [7 pounds] and I'm fine." Amy might claim she has gained some weight but her recent pictures suggest otherwise.
Before they headed back to their retreat Blake said that the newspaper reports that Winehouse was addicted to heroin and cocaine were bogus. "I wouldn't believe it, no," he said. "I would say there are a few problems there, but certainly not the magnitude that my mum was falsely quoted as saying. Is he calling his mother a liar? Who do you believe Blake or his mother?
