It's official--our favorite crack couple is really splitting up. Yesterday there were reports that
Amy Winehouse's incarcerated husband
Blake Fielder-Civil had filed for divorce when he learned about her new man in St. Lucia.
"I can confirm that I have been instructed to commence divorce proceedings on the grounds of Amy's adultery," Blake's lawyers said.
Now we're hearing from Amy's camp, and it sounds like they're ready to go to battle. "Papers have been received and the matter is with Amy's lawyers."
Amy's lawyers are gearing up for a big fight too. Blake's lawyers are going to try to get him over $7.6 million dollars from the split, half of her $15 million dollar fortune.
It's unclear whether the couple signed a pre-nup when they married back in 2007, but chances are Amy was too high to think of it.
In other Wino news, she's apparently begged her father Mitch to return to St. Lucia to keep her company because her vacation boytoy Joshua Bowman had to finally leave to head back home.
A source tells U.K. newspaper The Sun, "She has been calling Mitch every day to tell him she is totally besotted. Mitch wants him to know he will have their support."
An insider at the hotel adds, "Amy was very upset. She was in tears and kept telling Josh she love him and would see him again soon."
Talk about an extended holiday, how long is she planning on staying in St. Lucia? She might as well record some music while she's down there. If Blake is going to suck half her money out of her, she's going to have to get back to work soon.
