It's been a little over three months since Amy Winehouse's untimely death, and we're now finding out that the singer had consumed a "very large quantity of alcohol" before she died.

Coroner Suzanne Greenaway officially gave a verdict of "death by misadventure," adding that Winehouse voluntarily consumed alcohol and risked the consequences. The coroner told the inquest that Amy had 416mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood. The driving limit is 80mg, which makes Winehouse more than five times over the legal limit. She downed a large amount of vodka.

The coroner further reports that she was dry for three weeks prior and the binge caused her to be poisoned by the alcohol.

Don't ever let your parents watch anything on MTV. They will spend the next several weeks complaining about the degradation of society and wondering "What a Nicki Minaj is?" However, for Amy Winehouse's parents, they have been invited by MTV to attend the VMA's this Sunday.

Since the announcement that this Sunday's VMA's will feature a tribute to late singer, Amy Winehouse, MTV has extended an invitation to her parents to come attend the awards show. If they accept that would be so awesome, making Mr. and Mrs. Winehouse the raddest parents ever!

Organizers of the awards show have told E! News that they hope Mitch and Janis Winehouse will appear, "We hope so. We owe it to them. It would be amazing."

Once the tribute was announced, Mitch said, "Our family is honored that the VMA's are giving Amy this wonderful tribute." I hope they go to the show! Her parents have not been shy about speaking to the media, so hopefully they can be there to appreciate what MTV has planned in what will probably be a very tearful event.

Despite what the public might have assumed, Amy Winehouse’s body was clean when she died. At least of illegal drugs.

Spokesman Chris Goodman released the following statement on Tuesday:

“Toxicology results returned to the Winehouse family by authorities have confirmed that there were no illegal substances in Amy's system at the time of her death. Results indicate that alcohol was present but it cannot be determined as of yet if it played a role in her death.”

The statement continued: “The family would like to thank the police and coroner for their continuing thorough investigations and for keeping them informed throughout the process. They await the outcome of the inquest [into her death] in October."

If there wasn't already enough tragedy surrounding the singer's death, burglars have now broken into Amy Winehouse's home.

Twenty people have access to her home, and following her death on July 23, unreleased tracks, lyric books and letters have been stolen. The twenty people are comprised of family, friends, security and police. Her management are also unable to find one of Amy's favorite guitars.

Winehouse's father, Mitch, is currently on vacation trying to cope with his grief, and he is obviously angry and upset, and has vowed to find the guilty party. An insider close to the family said:

"This is such a sickening shock to the family. That someone would stoop so low. They can’t get their heads around it. Mitch is livid. The family, record label and management are months away from deciding what to do with any unreleased music. For that to be taken out of their hands is horrible."

Fans are still lining up outside Amy Winehouse’s home weeks after she was found dead. They’re still leaving handwritten notes, lighting candles and leaving flowers. Every day her father Mitch goes out and talks to the fans, even handing out some of Amy’s favorite clothes.

Mitch decided after Amy’s passing that he wants to set up a rehab center for addicts who can’t financially afford the help, and it’s going take place at Amy’s London home.

He said: "It could include help for children in trouble, kids suffering health problems, children's hospices and more. We want to make a positive difference."

Amy Winehouse may have been secretly engaged to boyfriend Reg Traviss.

Amy and Reg had been dating for a year and apparently Reg presented Amy with a diamond ring, "Reg asked Amy and of course she said 'Yes.'...They openly said they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. They both thought the absolute world of each other," a source tells The Sun.

Amy was hoping that settling down with Reg would be the jumpstart she needed to get clean, "Amy was adamant about sorting herself out. Reg's proposal made her even more determined. She didn't want to carry on the way she was."
