Rejoice! The hilarious Amy Sedaris is heading back to television. She’s just signed a deal to create, write, and star in a comedy series produced by Fox and Worldwide Pants, which is David Letterman’s company.

She and her writing partner Paul Dinello are working on the premise of the show that is unknown, except for the fact that Amy came up with the idea years ago. The show will air on a cable channel, so we’re hoping for HBO or Showtime so they won’t hold back at all!

Amy says, "It just seemed the right time to do it now."

We can’t wait! Strangers With Candy was so genius, and you just can’t go wrong with Amy.
