Amy Adams accepted the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for her turn in American Hustle and delivered the best speech of the night.
For the record, that is NOT an easy task when Jennifer Lawrence won a trophy of her own and Jacqueline Bisset's so-uncomfortable-it-was-great-we-think-that-was-a-thank-you? occurred on the same stage just hours prior.
While she claimed she couldn’t cry and is incapable of tears even in the most tear-jerking of situations, Amy's speech was all around heartfelt and genuine and gave us the flutters all over.
The best part: When the Golden Globes in-house band tried to cut her speech short, which unleashed Amy's inner mama bear because there was no way she was going to be played off the stage without thanking her daughter for all the love and support first.
