America's Next Top Model

As you ay recall, Kimora appeared on the first season of the show, but was quickly fired. But word on the street is that there’s no bad blood between the ladies.
So now the rumor is that Kimora will permanently fill one of the judge’s seats, which has been a revolving door this season for celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan. And Gatecrasher reports that Miss J. will go back to being a runway coach. His chair will be filled by Vogue editor Andre Leon Talley.
A source says, "No one is sure why Miss J has been demoted from being a judge back to just doing the runway coaching.”
We’d hardly call it a demotion. Maybe Tyra just thinks that’s what he’s great at! She’s got to keep the show fresh to keep it on the air! What do you think of Kimora filling a judge’s seat?

Kim really does love the show, and says she’s been watching since the first season. She says, “It teaches girls what it really takes to be a model. Sometimes people think it’s the easiest job in the world to just pose and all you’re doing is taking pictures, but that’s just a small side to it. There’s the business side of things and of course it’s really competitive and it’s got a real excitement factor.”
She said the best part was “Being around Tyra and Miss Jay and Nigel — they have these great personalities and this awesome collaboration going on because they’ve been doing it for years. It was really cool that they trusted me to come into their circle and give my different opinion. I think the girls were excited and they had definitely watched my show. Even though Tyra and I may have had differing opinions, I learned a lot from what she had to say which was awesome for me.”
Check out Kim on tonight’s episode of Top Model, at 8PM on the CW!

They will both make separate appearances in the upcoming season. Lauren will be a guest judge on September 16th, which Kim K makes her appearance on October 21st.
But these two aren't the only big names added to the lineup for the season. Top Model fans can also expect to see Chanel Iman (Sept. 9), China Chow (Sept. 30), Josie Maran (Oct. 7) and Kirsty Hume (Oct. 28) as guest judges this season.
CW star Jessica Lowndes (90210) makes an appearance on Oct. 31. 90210's Adrianna won't be judging, but she does put the girls' "interviewing skills" to the test.
Will you tune in for the special appearances? Who would you love to see as guest judge on the panel?

Paulina appeared on The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson last night and dished on the details.
She told him, “Listen, do you know why I’m in Los Angeles? Because I’m looking for a job because I was fired from America’s Next Top Model on my birthday!”
Porizkova was the replacement for Twiggy on the show, and had only been on for one season. She went on to say, "The reason I was told I was fired was because, it seemed that America's Next Top Model has gotten too fat and they needed to cut some fat and the fat was me."
"So I figured it was either that or my gigantic huge ego. Which I wasn’t aware of until I was told by the producers that I have an ego problem."
No one’s ego can be as big as Tyra’s! That’s calling the kettle black! The CW and Tyra’s rep both had no comment about the firing, but confirmed that Paulina will not be on the show next season.

According to the CW, contestants will not be allowed to line up overnight. They’ll have to wait starting 6AM. At 7AM, producers will hand out wristbands with audition times, and candidates with later times will be asked to leave and return. Also, girls will not be permitted to come with huge groups. Only women under 18 can be accompanied by a chaperone.
The new audition day has been scheduled for April 11th. Here are the new list of rules according to the CW:
Audition Rules and Guidelines:
1. No lining up overnight and no lining up prior to 6:00am. Registration will begin at 7:00am. These times may be amended at Producer's discretion.
2. Proof of age is required to enter the line. Acceptable identification must include picture and birth date.
3. Colors of wristbands indicate when your scheduled audition time will be. If your scheduled audition time is several hours or more from the time that you receive your wristband, then we encourage you to leave and come back.
4. Only women applying should stand in line. If someone is just short of being 18, she can have one guardian with her. Please note that you must turn 18 by April 15, 2009 to audition.
5. Please make sure that you have everything you need to audition before you get into any line (for wristbands, etc.). You will only be allowed one bag that can fit comfortably on your lap inside the venue. This will be enforced by security.
6. No jumping in line or holding places in advance for others but it's okay if you're going to the restroom or getting food and water. You're not guaranteed to be allowed back in line. Be courteous to others around you.
7. Casting staff will give special instructions for the disabled.
8. Once in the venue, no ins and outs.
9. Only one audition per open call – do not try again if you've been cut.
10. Casting staff wearing official ANTM gear outside the venue may ask you for information in advance but be careful who you talk to and avoid anyone trying to charge you anything to participate.
11. We reserve the right to change or add to these rules as needed.

Tyra released a statement today saying, "To all the Top Model hopefuls who were affected by the New York casting, we are doing everything we can to make sure that ALL the girls who weren't seen, get an opportunity to audition -- we'll update you on our plans very soon.”
She also added, "It is so important to me to redefine beauty and make sure that everyone gets a fair chance to pursue their dream. I am beyond excited for Cycle 13; for the first time ever, young women 5'7" and under have a shot at becoming America's Next Top Model!
"I encourage each girl to come out ready to rock the runway and show off their fiercest pose. I'm rooting for all of you!"
We’re not sure putting your life in danger is worth being on the show! But at least the die-hards who live for Top Model will still have a chance to audition for Tyra! Stay tuned for upcoming audition dates.

A rep from the CW confirmed Clay will join the judges table on the April 8th episode, and he’ll be using some of his own talents to help the models!
Clay’s job is to work with the contestants in an acting challenge. He will then take his place at the judges’ table at the end of the episode when one contestant will be sent home. Well this makes us feel better about the choice! We can actually see Clay doing a good job at this!
Also joining the judges table this season is Ciara. No word on her role yet, but we do know she’ll be paying the models a visit during one of their photo shoots. Top Model comes back February 25th! Whoohoo!

Isis appeared on Tyra (on an episode scheduled to air Tuesday November 18th) to talk about her struggles with her situation, and that she tried not to let it affect her time on Top Model.
Tyra Banks then introduces Isis to Dr. Marci Bowers, a leading gender reassignment surgeon who has experienced the surgery herself. Isis hasn’t been able to pay for the pricy surgery, which is why Dr. Bowers offers to pay for it herself. Pretty nice of her, huh? Check out the video below.

It's makeover time! And that means one or two ladies are bound to be in tears before the episode is halfway over. Last week, Tyra couldn't wait to cut Samantha's hair, so expect to see that beautiful blonde mane cropped. Afterward, the models go to Malibu for a swimsuit shoot with model and designer Susan Holmes. One of the night's big questions: How will Isis, the transgender model, fare? She slipped the farthest down the ANTM chain last week and was nearly eliminated. Tyra said Isis didn't even look like a model. Ouch!
Bones @ 8pm
With a title like Bones, it was probably just a matter of time before this show went to the dogs — but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan guest stars when the Jeffersonian team's investigation of a veterinarian's murder uncovers the deceased's gambling addiction and ties to an illegal dogfighting ring, and the canine communicator pitches in to help find the killer.
Top Design @ 10pm
Last week's challenge was the bomb: Our interior decorators formed pairs to create functional, small-spaced bomb bunkers, with fallout boy Eddie earning the win with Andrea. We should expect mushroom-cloud explosions in tonight's episode. Here, the contestants design window displays as inspired by Project Runway creations, with former Runway players Daniel Franco, Santino Rice, Jeffrey Sebelia, Sweet P and Andrae Gonzalo on hand. But the guests come with their usual strong aesthetic opinions (Andrae apparently disagrees with wicker), creating a powder keg of tension.
America's Got Talent @ 8pm
8 pm/ET NBC For those looking for a talent trainwreck, sadly all of the contestants lacking talent (per the Hoff, Sharon and Piers, anyway) have long been cut, sort of like a variety-show passage of natural selection. Instead, tonight's super sized episode features the Top 10 performers showing off their considerable entertainment chops. Who will be the fittest to survive? Could it be classy Sinatra-esque crooner Paul Salos, sassy soul singer Queen Emily or young bluegrass trio the Wright Kids? And we shouldn't count out that bundle of cute, 4-year-old Kaitlyn Maher.

Her name is Isis, and she's from Maryland. She says she's a woman who was born physically male.
Isis says, "I like to help people, but I'm here to follow my dreams." And you know this makes GLAAD happy! Their president says it is "an unprecedented opportunity for a community that is underrepresented on television."
"We applaud Tyra Banks and The CW for making this historic visibility of transgender people possible."
Interesting! You'd never know!
