For the third year in a row, “America’s Got Talent” announces it’s YouTube/Snapple online auditions round.
During Season 5, 10-year-old singing sensation Jackie Evancho auditioned on YouTube, and then entered the competition during semi-finals, and eventually won the entire show. Remember Jackie Evancho? The tiny little girl with the incredible opera voice? Yeah, your mom asked for her album for Christmas.
Anyways, if you think you’ve got what it takes, upload a video of your talent, whether it’s singing, dancing, or fire eating, for the chance to enter the competition during the semi-finals.
The deadline for YouTube auditions is June 1. Producers will select 20 YouTube acts and fans can vote for their favorites.
The #1 YouTube video with the most votes will perform on "America’s Got Talent" along with the regular show competitors.
Just to make the audition process even easier, AGT has launched an iPhone app, so you can upload your audition video from your phone at the click of a button.
“America’s Got Talent” returns to television with two, two-hour episodes on Monday, May 14 at 8pm and Tuesday May 15 at 8pm.
The show will then return to it’s regular day and time on Monday, May 21 at 8pm and Tuesday, May 22 at 9pm.
