Sanjaya Malakar Comes Out

Sanjaya Malakar has come out ~~of the closet~~ about his personal life. This American Idol reject admitted that he is smooth with the ladies and really knows “what women want”.

"I've always gotten along with girls better because I was raised by women", in a statement he gave to People magazine. He also mentions that his close relationship to his mother and sister has given him ease with the ladies. Prior to his popularity Sanjaya didn’t have it easy.

"I got teased in school because people figured I must be gay because I understand women." "I think that's why guys didn't like me – because I got along with girls so well. When I went up to girls they would give me a hug and a kiss on the cheek like I was their gay friend. But I was the straight guy that understood them."

Either Sanjaya is gay or he’s taking his 15 minutes of fame way over his head. Are you guys over Sanjaya or is he going to milk 15 more minutes?

For what it's worth, I wish him well. William Hung made it and he wasn't even necessarily cute. We live in a society that is driven by the 'fame at any cost and whatever' motive. His talent was mediocre at best but he's cute to some. So I guess that's enough. I mean whatever works. There are more people than Sanj that are on the make and would probably give anything to be in his position.

He also talks in the article about his former (???) girlfriend--and from what I understand about Sanjaya and the ladies (private source) he borders on even getting into "some trouble" with the girlies. Believe me, the boy has that Ricco Suave look down pat. Even us older ladies had to fan ourselves after that ahhhh, er--thing--he did with the camera. We KNOW That look. Like J-lo and Marc Anthony said, give that boy few years to fill out that skinny frame and he will be the ultimate sexy beast. I cannot wait for the first music video!!!

Wasn't a fan of Sanjaya's singing on AI but I liked the guy. I felt like Simon. He liked Sanjaya..he was just disappointed in his singing. However, it's obvious that people are coming to him. Sanjaya is just sitting back while everyone is trying to give him offers to do something. He's interesting and cracked me up with his mohawk. Sanjaya has to potential to do a lot of things even if it's not singing.
