New American Idol Judge Is Engaged

We don’t know much about the new judge on American Idol Kara DioGuardi, except for the fact that’s it’s caused tension between Paula Abdul and pretty much every one on the show.

It may all be hearsay, but we’ll find out tonight as season 8 premieres!

What we do know is that Kara just got engaged over the weekend. She and her boyfriend Mike McCuddy were vacationing in Mexico when he decided to pop the question.

But the two have no date in mind as of now for their big day. A rep for Kara told People, “No wedding date has been planned.”

Well that’s a good thing, seeing as though she’s got a long season ahead of her! American Idol season 8 kicks off tonight on Fox, great way to promote the show!
