Matt Giraud Isn't Saved on American Idol

Nothing could have saved Matt Giraud last night, as he was sent home on American Idol. Just two weeks after the judges used their save on him, Matt found himself in what a lot of people are calling a shocking bottom three.

Even Simon didn’t predict the bottom three to made comprised of Matt, Kris, and Adam. But like he said, it’s the people who pick up the phones and vote who have the control over the competition.

And those people decided it was Matt’s turn to leave. That leave four remaining: Adam Lambert, Kris Allen, Allison Ireheta, and Danny Gokey. Talk about a stiff competition!

Matt will definitely be missed, but all four judges were able to agree on the fact that he won’t be going back to work at the local dueling piano bar.

Up next week, the remaining four will perform rock n’ roll songs, with special guest Slash. That should be interesting!
