Idol Producers Keeping Paula Abdul

The producers over at American Idol have responding to rumors that Paula Abdul is going to lose her job after she bashed them for bringing her stalker Paula Goodspeed on the hit show.

“America loves Paula. She’s an integral part of this program,” Warwick told reporters on a conference call about Idol’s upcoming eighth season Monday afternoon.

“Never have I been faced with anyone saying Paula’s got to go. She’s one of the foundation blocks of this series. She keeps Simon well in control.”

We were hoping they would replace Paula with someone a little crazier than she is. If that's even possible. Idol’s new season kicks off January 13 on Fox, will you be watching?
