Idol Contestant Sent to Hospital

The American Idol competition had a little bit of a hiccup today!

Contestant Crystal Bowersox was sent to the hospital today for diabetes complications. And as a result the performances have been switched--the guys will now perform tonight, and the girls will perform tomorrow night.

Sources tell Us Weekly Crystal is recovering from diabetes complications.

"Crystal is doing OK and should be fine for tomorrow," says the insider.

On Thursday, the competition will resume as usual, with two guys and two girls getting cut from the show. Season 8 finalist Danny Gokey will perform on the show. We wish Crystal a full recovery! She's one of our early favorites, so we really hope this doesn't affect her performance tomorrow night.
