Goodye Sanjaya

We're sad to report that our favorite "American Idol" contestant Sanjaya Malakar is going home. This Idol can say goodbye to his 15 minutes of fame since he got voted off the hit TV show tonight.

When the result was announced, Malakar wiped away tears and got a big hug from LaKisha Jones. "I'm fine," he told Ryan Seacrest. "It was an amazing experience."

We were actually rooting for Sanjaya to make it until the end. There goes the hunger strikes, big hairstyles, little girls crying and drama on Idol. Wondering if anyone will be watching the show now that the only excitement is gone?

Idol lost its charm. The viweship will be down from 40+ miliion to way below 20 million. Only people who think this show is just about singing and nothing to do with the charm and charisma will have to watch. Good luck to them. Idol will never be the same any more. Sanjaya is already the real idol

It's funny these people who say that he can't sing have probally never listened to his MP3's. They are among the best. Unfortunately this week he had a bad performance. In my opinion he was the best last week. It would be nice if reporters actually cared about getting the facts straight. If one does a survey one finds the largest portion of Sanjaya's fanbase is 40+ women like myself. His voice is smooth and nice and for those of us who like lite music he is ideal. Seeing as a certain light station in NY leads all other stations. I would think Sanjaya has appeal. Do your own survey. You will be surprized. If you really want a surprize do a taste test and get permission to play a couple of Sanjaya's MP3's on the radio without telling them who it is and ask what they think. I have done this in a small scale and I think the reporters just have it wrong.

he seems like a sweet kid, but sing worth sh*t....even when he was singing better then his average, it still wasn't anything special.
