Ryan Seacrest Won't Make $15 Million A Year On Idol

There have been several reports that Ryan Seacrest just inked a three-year, $45 million deal to stay on as the host of American Idol.

But when asked about it today at the Television Critics Association panel, Fox Chairman of Entertainment Peter Rice said Ryan was still under his old contract.

While American Idol fans were shocked to learn about Paula Abdul's departure, sources tell Hollyscoop that it's been "a long time coming."

Paula Abdul Not Likely to Return to American Idol

It's the end of an era! According to Paula Abdul's manager, the American Idol judge most likely won't be returning back to the show for its upcoming ninth season due to contract negotiations.
