'American Idol' Boots Jim Carrey's Daughter During Hollywood Week "Even the guys are so pretty. I have to figure out how to overcome the beauty."

But he does, and he's in.

From there, Elise Testone, Baylie Brown and Hallie Dy are in.

Later on in the show, Jim Carrey's daughter, Jane Carrey, took the stage. She's apparently a waitress.
To be specific, she tied him to a bed with her hairband, which leads me to wonder what kind of industrial-strength hairbands she’s using and where can I get some, because I have very thick hair. Oh also, it’s freaky that she did that. Tied him to the bed with her hair-tie, and all that.

Casper Smart has sex with his boss, gets to drive a Bentley, and now, he’s hanging out with the American Idol crew. This dude’s Christmas bonus is gonna be ridiculous.

Last night the cast of American Idol hung out in Las Vegas after they finished taping an episode of the show. Just after 8pm, Steven Tyler, Randy Jackson, Ryan Seacrest and Jennifer Lopez all arrived at the celeb...
It was a bad day for former American Idol winner Scotty McCreery and his runner up Lauren Alaina yesterday. No, they didn’t catch a house on fire while trying to deep fry a turkey, but both Idol alums had two bad performances at two separate events.

Scott McCreey performed on a float at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade and had an apparent lip sync fail. Everyone knows that the performers lip sync during that parade (because it’s too cold?) but poor 18-year-old McCreery couldn’t quite figure out how to hold on to the moving float and get his mouth to move along with the lyrics all at the same time.

Is it just me, or is Jennifer Lopez making divorce look like a blast? She shows up to Vegas' iHeartRadio event and kills it onstage, looking better than ever. And now American Idol co-judge Randy Jackson confirms she's been doing just fine.

"We've been doing auditions and she's rising above," Jackson told PEOPLE. "She's strong, she's a trooper, she's a great girl. She's amazing."

Jackson also performed at the event, and you gotta love him, but he was nothing compared to Lopez. Lopez performed Papi, wearing a skimpy red outfit that made me realize I really, really need to hit the gym.
After months of hype, The X-Factor finally had it's debut on Wednesday night. It started off on a touching note, with 13 year-old Rachel Crow as the first to audition. Simon Cowell asked her what she'd do with the $5 million prize.

"My family has like no money," she told the judges. "We live in a two-bedroom house, and I have six people in my family." She then added: "I'm a girl. I need my own bathroom."

I feel the poor girl, but I do find it funny that of all the things she could do and buy with several million dollars, her first thought is: "bathroom."

After blowing everyone away with Mercy, it was pretty unanimous. Paula Abdul responded:

Jennifer Lopez has already signed on for another season of American Idol, but it wasn't an easy decision. Lopez says at the end of this past season, she was completely worn down. Okay, her crumbling marriage probably didn't help, either.

"I got a little bit tired at the end with everything going on in my life at the time," says Lopez.

She announced her split with Marc Anthony only two months after the finale. And during the finale, Anthony made a performance, and the two seemed more in love than ever. I guess that's why we were all shocked when they made the announcement of their split. I mean, kinda shocked. I think we kinda saw it coming at some point, am I right?

…And the hookup rumors begin. Were Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery more than just friends on American Idol?

They definitely have some chemistry and after competing side by side throughout the entire season, they finally addressed rumors of a hookup last night.

When Alaina was first asked about their relationship, she told reporters that Scotty would answer instead.

Scotty was asked "Lauren said to ask you about whether or not you are dating...
The people have spoken. Scotty McCreery is your new American Idol. Though let's face it, Lauren Alaina is probably going to get a record deal out of this too.

Hollyscoop talked to McCreery before the show, who told us: "I'm feeling great. This is the final stage of the whole journey."

Lauren struggled to stay in the competition when her voice went out on Tuesday. It might have garnered her some sympathy votes, but in the end, Scotty went home with a record deal and a brand new Ford Focus, which he's barely old enough to drive.
