Great, now I have to watch Season 3.
‘Teen Mom’, a show that has absolutely nothing to do with becoming a Teen Mom and everything to do with what Lindsay Lohan’s life would be like if she were poor, has produced a little twinkling star—Amber Portwood.
Portwood has battled depression, been charged with domestic violence, and, well-- I could go on and on, but if you’re reading this, you’re probably already a ‘Teen Mom’ fan and therefore have a very short attention span, so I’ll get to the good stuff.
After Portwood’s drug arrest last month, she struck a plea deal that requires her to serve a 5-year prison sentence. But according to TMZ, Portwood can avoid jail if she engages in a court-mandated drug rehabilitation program.
At this point, which of the Teen Moms haven’t been to jail? This show is going to start cross programming with prison documentaries.
When Amber struck her plea deal, she pled guilty to one count of possession of a controlled substance and one count of probation violation. The whole thing will be dismissed if she successfully graduates from the Madison County Drug Court program. She’ll also get a little diploma that has a picture of a bag of crack inside a red ‘no’ symbol.
But, if Amber can’t graduate from drug school, then she’ll be tossed into jail immediately. A hearing is set for February 6, when the judge will decide whether to approve the deal.
